New Genealogy Links
If you look on the left in the "LINKS" section, you will see some links to Cyndi's List. This is the starting point for everything Genealogical on the internet.
Here's a genealogy resource that many people do not know about. Go to eBay and type in the surname of a person you are searching for. Surprise, there are folks on eBay selling information about that name (in most cases).
You can also do a search on "Genealogy" and get 1000's of hits on eBay.
There is also a genealogy category on eBay with oodles of listings for books, CDs, periodicals, research specialists, etc. If it has to do with genealogy, it IS on eBay!

1st Post
The purpose of this blog is to unite folks who are interested in Kinel genealogy. My grandfather was Willie E. Kinel of Mississippi who settled in Texas, married Julia Lawrence and raised 8 kids. Rumor has it that he changed his name from some other name to Kinel. We can't prove this but we can't find his parents, either.
We do have some genealogy to share and hope to link with others who have similar interests.
